This year we are offering 2-3 one-week sessions of Leaping Literacy Summer Camp here at Brooksville Elementary School, the Blue Hill Public Library, Penobscot Community School, and the Surry Elementary School! Based on a weekly theme, we will be using art, music, interactive science presentations, storytelling, books and movement to help each camper create their own book. Sign up for one week or more, with space allowing. The program will run from 9 am – Noon. This program is free of charge and is designed to inspire your child to see literacy as a form of entertainment and to help them keep up their school skills over the summer.
