Please read the CHRC instructions carefully, and be sure to include the $15 fee for CHRC certification, which is separate from the fee for the fingerprinting company. Without payment of the $15 fee, the state will not release your certification. Thank you.
As of February 2022, the DOE has launched a new Guest School Staff Member website, which has all the information for substitute teachers, bus drivers, playground monitors, and other substitute personnel. The DOE will now REIMBURSE the CHRC fee of $15 and the $55 background check fee within 4-6 weeks of applying!
